- Firstly, when applying your foundation or concealer, swipe some over your eyelid. This will act as a base for your shadow to stick to, making it last all day (or night!)
- Start with a shimmery golden shade. Apply this all over the lid, right up to the crease.
- Next, take a darker bronze shade and blend it right the way along the crease of your eyelid, from the inner corner right to your outer lid.
- Take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and buff in small circles to blend the darker shadow upwards and outwards to soften the edges.
- Now take a thinner shadow brush and apply a deep brown/darker bronze shade in a ‘V’ shape to the outer eyelid.
- Take that fluffy brush again and blend the darker shade in towards the centre of the lid.
- Keep hold of that brush! Use it to pull some of the darkest shadow under the eye and along the lower lash line, for a little definition.
- Now take a pale, shimmery shade (pale gold or off-white are perfect) and apply around the inner corner of the eye, dragging a little below and a little above to keep those sparkling eyes wide open!
- Take a small amount of foundation or concealer to clean up any stray shadow fall down around the eye.
- And finally, curl those eyelashes and apply TONS of mascara to give your eyes depth and definition. You can add false lashes too if you like.
