Just got this dress, and simply couldn't wait to take it for a walk. You know how it is with new, cute things :) Since Emil and I had dinner plans, I though it would be the perfect opportunity to dress up a bit. For me, this dress is a perfect example of sexy and classic. Love the way long sleeves and high neckline balance out the sexy front slit and dramatic floral print. Definitely one of my favorite dresses at the moment!

Hey everyone  Today’s post is featuring this beautiful double-slit maxi from Charlotte Russe! I am a huge fan of maxi skirts, but I’ve never owned a slit OR double-slit maxi until this one. I love that this has slits because we’ve had a lot of hot days here, and the slits make whole outfit more breathable if that makes sense. I paired it with a neon tank and a statement necklace from Shop Prima Donna. I really loved the pink-blue contrast of the necklace/shirt.

Seasonal, colourful, overly printed pieces are a doomed decision from the beginning. Don’t take me wrong, I myself have made multiple mistakes, and am tempted to make them again every few months. However, at the same time, I know how I’ve worn those pieces, once or twice, maybe I magically extended that to 5 times, and got tired of them, or the shopping windows got filled with something else, putting my recently adored pieces under the #lastseason tag.

So what do you invest in? Well, that’s pretty easy, basics. Those clothes that have the potential to be worn 50 times with 50 different outfits, and will look just as good and be just as fashionable next season.

Now I can share with you the excitement to be able to tick something out of my “Need” list for this Spring/Summer, the white sleeve button down shirt from Addison. Might sound paradoxical, but usually the simple piece are the hardest to find when you look for perfection, and I have been looking for one for a few good months.

On Tuesday morning, we had a couple of meetings, so I wore an incredible, Vila Clothes black dress, which you can find in Buylevard, and I chose Nasty Gal shoes and a Céline bag. Every single corner in this city is perfect for a shooting.

I fell in love with this lace top sweater in both colors, and luckily found one in my size at a local store. I was worried the lace would be very delicate and tear easily, but it's held up well so far over a month of wear - just be cautious around hooks and jewelry! For those who don't care for strapless bras, I've been wearing this with a regular black bra underneath (straps can pass as thin camisole straps), or you can try a black under tank. In my opinion this sweater would look better more fitted on someone (I'm wearing xxsp for reference), to avoid any loose wrinkles across the torso like in the pic above.

If you've been reading my blog, or recently opened it for yourself, you have noticed my love for such accessories like sunglasses. I consider this an indispensable accessory and able to create an atmosphere of everyday image. Often glasses rescue us girls, helping to hide our reluctance to put a make or hide signs of fatigue around the eyes. For me, glasses and even psychological barrier. For example, when I'm in them, feel Miss invisible.
Lately I prefer the unusual models, the farther the more strange, but extremely steep points to find its arsenal. Now here I really liked the vintage glasses, I'm just in awe of them. There isn’t much of a better feeling than going from freezing cold climates, to a tropical island and slipping on a lightweight dress. I would usually opt for heavier boots with a dress but Bali’s heat didn’t allow for anything with more coverage than sandals.

I have been obsessed with this bandana print dress since the inception of Supermuse, not only thanks to its plunging neckline but the amount of flip in the skirt. To quote my mum I “only ever wore twirly skirts” growing up, whilst I was doing ballet and the splitz on soccer fields and doing the groceries.
