Hey everyone  Today’s post is featuring this beautiful double-slit maxi from Charlotte Russe! I am a huge fan of maxi skirts, but I’ve never owned a slit OR double-slit maxi until this one. I love that this has slits because we’ve had a lot of hot days here, and the slits make whole outfit more breathable if that makes sense. I paired it with a neon tank and a statement necklace from Shop Prima Donna. I really loved the pink-blue contrast of the necklace/shirt.

The last couple days I have been catching up on all my shows as I try to fight this crazy cold. The first series Cody and I started watching together when we were dating was Glee. I am so envious of people who have a natural gift for singing. My voice on the other hand not so great. So I was immediately attached to Lea Michele’s character Rachel. Every time she sings I get goose bumps. We used to blare the sound track to season one in our old apartment and dance and clean. Anyways, we kind of stopped watching the recent seasons when they added all the new characters, but I wanted to see the Cory Monteith tribute because Finn had been one of my favorites. Have you guys seen it yet? Wow, I don’t know if my emotions are spiked from being pregnant but I cried through the whole thing. Needless to say it was really well put together and if you haven’t seen it and need a good cry it’s a tear jerker.

But after receiving this gorgeous new necklace, I decided to go for a peacock color scheme of purple, blue and green. I liked it much better than my original outfit idea. This is another great look for the office (I think I've been inspired to think of more work-friendly outfits since my sister just got a job in the city and she dresses so nice everyday!), and the dotted vest really adds that unexpected feminine touch.  Tailor and Stylist is really your go-to store for polished, polished and ladylike pieces. I normally would have paired silver jewelry with this look but felt like rose gold would be a nice twist. :)

The white vest has been a marked trend this season, Zara bought it the first day of sales, was anxious to have it and there it was, waiting for me :) It is a very elegant to combine in a thousand ways garment. This time playing with these denim shorts boyfriend, basic black top and high heel sandals, very suitable for a night look.
The touch that defines the look is provided by supplements. This wonderful necklace with a Navajo design Stradivarius love ♥ ethnic bracelets and matching summery touch of orange in the bag, a touch of color to highlight a luminous whole.

I packed this outfit for a meeting, choosing pieces that could also serve for going out or casual wandering. The turtleneck and faux leather jacket are great transitional pieces that travel well without wrinkling. The skirt is conservative in style and length, but the beautiful print makes it more exciting than my average pencil skirt,!

Sick Day :: Vintage lace & Glitter pumps

we share everything including colds.  Historically, whenever he gets sick it doesn’t pass on to me.  But this time, it conquered both of us.  My headaches are less intense, but the coughing and sore throat continues.  Do you have any home remedies to combat the cold?  I just bought some honey and lemon the other day.  If you have any other recommendations, please kindly share and I’ll make another run to the store =)

Burgundy V-Neck Off shoulder Sweater and Cognac Suede Booties | Spring Outfits

 I love how the leaves are finally starting change color and the evening weather bites enough that getting in bed gets extra cozy. One of the easiest things to do to in order to give your style a fall twist is to throw on a cute pair of booties and a dark tone sweater. :) Pair it with denim, skirts or even tights + shorts. While it also helps to go with all rich tones like I did, it's not totally necessary!
