Royal Blue Button Up Shirt with Aztec High Waist Skirt and Sexy Pumps | Summer Outfits

Don't you just love when an outfit comes together perfectly? The awesome 15th Lane recently sent me this stunning cobalt shirt and it exactly matched my beloved aztec skirt from Forever 21 that I got over a year ago! :)

Chic Black Blazer with Striped Lining Top and Leather Pant | Street Outfits

Chic Black Blazer with Striped Lining Top and Leather Pant | Street Outfits

I'm a sucker for anything with a pretty lining or special added details, so I was immediately drawn to this blazer that has both a polka dot little pocket square (how cute?) and a fresh striped lining. A cross between feminine and masculine, which is another thing I'm a sucker for.

Striped with White Ripped Jeans and Ankle Strap Heels | Classic Street Outfits

Striped with White Ripped Jeans and Ankle Strap Heels | Classic Street Outfits

Hi! Finally getting a post together here… I’m telling you it was a rough last week. Got back from Palm Springs and had to pack for Dubai! So I really haven’t had time to check in with you guys.
I always fall back to staple pieces, like this striped shirt and ripped skinny jeans, to get me out of a hurry. It always works. Ran a few errands and bought a few things I needed for my trip and off I go to pack. Busy weekend it was.

Zara Sequined Short with White Shirt and Michael Kors Chocolate Bag | Chic Outfits

This is the look I was wearing yesterday for a friend’s anniversary. I just got delivered these amazing Zara shorts from Kurtmann.ro and I knew they would be the center piece of any outfit. I was wearing them with my favourite white shirt, the Choies sandals, my new love from Michael Kors, this chocolate bag and my Club Matsters from Ray Ban.

Chic Plaid with Love spikes instead buttons Overall | Spring Chic Outfits

Chic Plaid with Love spikes instead buttons Overall | Spring Chic Outfits

Today I want to show you this casual look . It has everything I search in a look: comfortable, flattering, stylish and full of little details.
The key piece is the great tie dye overall, perfect for this season! I love the spikes instead buttons :) I pick up a plaid shirt from my wardrobe to wear as a jacket and suede country style bag and booties. The bracelets, rings and necklaces follow the same style line and add an extra dose of cowboy looking. And, finally, my new sunnies. What to say, they are sooo beautiful and I’m absolutely in love with them. They are perfection!
Hope you like the look,

Chambray Loose Shirt , Zara Sexy Skirt with Studded Heels | Chic Street Outfits

I saw one of my favorite shows this step. The entire show was very lively atmosphere and cheerful, floral prints, jeans, chiffon dresses, lots of summer fabrics and the new flat sandals that I told you in recent weeks. I'm sure you would enjoy the show as much as I do. For my look chose my favorite jeans shirt that you have seen in various looks, combined with my novasaia Zara ... and accessories in red.

Pop Color Fluor Shirt with Black High Waist Skirt | Chic Summer Outfits

Last summer Fluorescent colors were the protagonists of our closets, and seems unwilling to abandon the moment, so be sure blouse one of my best allies.

Again I want to thank all the support and messages of affection. I'm going through a time of much chaos and sometimes impossible for me to answer all the comments, but I promise to do my best.

Printed Pencil Skirt with Pink Top and Nude Pumps | Street Chic Outfits

Printed Pencil Skirt with Pink Top and Nude Pumps | Street Chic Outfits

I chose a more feminine look and full of colors, inspired by the delicious climate of California! As you know Boston is a hell of a cold and enjoyed the pleasant weather to play me in the prints and vibrant colors. I used a pencil skirt emblazoned with a slight peplum - and combined with a pink shirt, pulling print skirt, leaving the harmonic production. To stretch the silhouette finished the production with a nude pump. Love the pink and blue together, and you ?!

Buffalo Plaid with Ripped Jeans and Pop Red Heels | Street Outfits

Buffalo Plaid with Ripped Jeans and Pop Red Heels | Street Outfits

I love all things plaid, which by now is no surprise. So double the plaid is even better! These paige jeans have been a long time favorite of mine. I linked the same jean just in a different wash. These are a staple in my wardrobe... And of course my red pumps that I am sure you all are sick of seeing by now because I have worn them to death over the past few months. I really got my moneys worth out of these! Red pumps go with so much more then you think!

HOW TO WEAR AN ALL GRAY OUTFIT TO WORK

If you’re looking for a flattering and versatile skirt for the office I would have to suggest the pencil skirt. Whether you pair it with a feminine blouse or masculine shirt, have it tucked in, or paired with a matching blazer a pencil skirt will always look stylish, if worn correctly.
A pencil skirt can be styled in a variety of ways but today we’re going to discuss how to wear it to work.

PENCIL SKIRT FIT AND LENGTH

Two important details that you must pay attention to is the length and the fit. A pencil skirt is usually most flattering when the hem lands around the knees. It can be slightly above or below but usually not any shorter. The skirt should also be fitted around the waist and hips but not too tight. If the waistband is a bit too snug and difficult to sit then it’s too tight. You know a piece is too tight when you start to see horizontal lines form across the hips. Fit is critical for work as you want to be comfortable – so make sure the length and fit are perfect so you feel stylish and confident. You shouldn’t have to fuss with your clothes at the office because what you need to be focusing on is the work in front of you.

TUCK IN YOUR SHIRT

If you wear a high waist skirt or a skirt with a thicker waistband then a blouse would look best tucked in. Personally, I always wear my shirts tucked in when wearing a pencil skirt. There are many positives to wearing your shirt tucked in: it creates a slimmer waist, makes the look more sophisticated, which is especiallyappropriate for the office, and for the petite gals (like me) it creates the illusion of longer legs.
As you can see from the photos, the gray color palette and vertical lines help to elongate my figure by creating nice long lines. To keep this outfit from looking “stuffy”, I rolled up my shirt sleeves and had the dark cuffs peaking out for an extra touch of attitude.
The finishing touch for this wear to work look: leopard heels. These added pattern, color, texture, sexiness, and attitude. Who knew that a pair of shoes could add so much!

DRESS STYLISH EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL LIKE IT

On another note, I feel like I need to share this because some mornings you may feel the same way.
Getting ready every morning can feel like a chore. Especially when you feel like you have nothing to wear, that’s the worst. Getting dressed in this outfit the other day was hard! My love affair with clothes doesn’t make me immune to feeling like I don’t know what to wear and I get a bit frustrated when I can’t seem to put together a decent outfit.

But when you don’t want to “dress nice” is when you especially need to. Remember, “you’re not always going to feel like it but successful people do it anyways.” After huffing and puffing about not knowing what to wear I ended up putting together this very stylish outfit for the office. I know there are many other important things going on in the world but when you feel put together you are more confident and are able to take on anything!

Pink Maxi Shirt with White Top and Denim Short | Summer Classic Street Outfits

Pink Maxi Shirt with White Top and Denim Short | Summer Classic Street Outfits

I wear them almost everyday and I’m in love… They look so vintage and actually they feels like old jeans. I was looking for a pair of shorts like this for ages so I’m very happy :) I had never considered the possibility but here I am wearing a crop top! Indeed, this is not just a way to wear crop tops but it’s also another option to combine opened maxi-shirts! You know I love hoe they looks, they are so chilly and like in this outfit, they can add the pop of color.

Love the Black Tibi Skirt with Tie Waist | Spring Street Chic

Love the Black Tibi Skirt with Tie Waist | Spring Street Chic

Hey Guys !  I’ve worn this skirt more times than I can count (last seen here.)  I don’t usually buy skirts, but I just loved the shape and length of this one.  I highly recommend investing in a midi skirt!  This week went by so fast didn’t it?  I can’t believe I leave for Africa tonight.  I packed a ton of light, beachy pieces including thiskaftan (I ordered an XS), this coverup, this bikini, and these sandals.  I’m looking forward to soaking up some sun and exploring the island. Enjoy your weekend!
